Hiring, Retention & Training

When it comes to hiring, TeamOps identifies people who are customer-focused and will make strong guest service personnel; not just industrial guards. Most of the people hired belong to “target groups” who fit the ideal employee profile. In addition to state mandated background checks, potential employees undergo an extensive interview and screening process.

TeamOps helps create an atmosphere that provides guests with the experience they deserve.

TeamOps, LLC employs over 50 full-time staff amongst its business operations and 900-1,300 part-time staff throughout the season.

We offer a variety of employment opportunities to our staff – from 24/7 operations to daily special functions and our exciting events calendar.

Our Human Resources team recruits based on the business needs and conducts a multi-source recruitment outreach in the community. In addition to traditional job fairs, our HR team regularly conducts virtual hiring through the Hire-Vue platform. All full-time and part-time staff of TeamOps has a multi-state criminal background check conducted. Individuals who will be driving our mobile units will also have a driver’s license check.

Our full-time and part-time staffs enjoy a variety of benefits and rewards. Full-time employees are reviewed twice a year with a mid-year and annual review cycle. Event day employees are rewarded for going above and beyond on event days with incentive-based gifts and awards. When meeting attendance goals they are entered into raffles for prizes. All of our event day employees are also rewarded with tenure hourly rate increases as they reach identified milestones.

All new hires attend an orientation program that includes an overview of the business, its policies and expectations for performance on the job. Each staff member receives a handbook that will assist them on event days in answering guest questions. A functional orientation is conducted to provide staff with a tour of the facility and an overview of job responsibilities.

Continuous customer service and on-the-job training is conducted prior to the doors opening to the public. TeamOps Supervisors and Managers attend an annual training that will cover a variety of topics from emergency management, incident writing, use of force policy, guest service feedback.

Our Premium guest service team also has an annual meeting in conjunction with food and beverage to reinforce the service expectations of the Premium service operation.
